Unusually for him (Perfect Stride), he is not under-priced today in my book. He was ridden too far out of his ground in a hot listed race at Goodwood last time, but he kept on well to be closest at the finish. He shapes as if the step up to 10 furlongs will suit, and he has won once and was beaten a short head once in two runs at the track before. He remains progressive, and he doesn’t have to step up hugely on his last run in order to go close.
