Kalahari King is obviously an exciting novice chaser. He is two for two now over fences, and showed a really impressive turn of foot to land his latest start at Leicester from a really decent mare of Nicky Henderson’s. Fourth in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle last March, he appeared to appreciate the step up to two and a half miles when he won at Punchestown last April, and it may be that he will prove best over two and a half miles over fences this season.
