Medermit

The relatively slow early pace of the Supreme Novices' Hurdle was all against Medermit, as was the easy ground on the first day, the easiest of the week. He got a little out-paced as they picked it up going down the hill, but he was staying on well on the run to the last when Cousin Vinny's mistake at that obstacle caused Chocolate Thornton to have to pick up his mount and switch to the near side. Even at that, he was making up ground on the winner Go Native all the way to the line, going down by just a neck in the end.

The Top Novices' Hurdle is the race for Medermit at Aintree. Horses who have been beaten in the Supreme Novices' have a really good record in that contest and, providing he gets a stronger gallop there, which he should, Medermit will be a leading player.
