All The Answers

All The Answers ran out an impressive winner of the 2m handicap chase. Joseph O'Brien's horse travelled well through his race for Shane Shortall on the inside, and his jumping was good. He moved up nicely along the inside as they turned into the home straight, and he made nice ground to join the front rank at the third last fence. He got in a little tight to the second last, but he moved on on the run to the last, and he stayed on strongly up the run-in to win well from Tisamystery, with Blast Of Koeman just behind in third.

It was a good performance by the winner in a good race. Tisamystery is a decent performer on his day, and he was racing off a mark of 117 here, 5lb lower than his peak, less Daniel Holden's 7lb claim, and Blast Of Koeman is a talented performer who was well supported.

The handicapper has raised All The Answers by 9lb for this win to a mark of 129, but that is still 3lb lower than his hurdles mark. Also, he is only seven and this was just his fifth run over fences, so there could be a fair bit more to come. Out of a half-sister to Rajdhani Express, his best form is on goodish ground, so he probably wouldn't want the ground to get too soft. He is entered in a handicap chase at Fairyhouse this Saturday, and he will be of interest if he takes his chance in it.
