Golden Horde

Golden Horde ran well to finish fifth in the Coventry Stakes. Clive Cox's horse was up prominent from early in a race in which they went fast and in which the horses who raced early in mid-division or worse came to the fore. Also, he didn't help himself by hanging to his left, he came from the centre group over and finished off his race close to the stands side, but it didn't halt his forward momentum. He ran all the way to the line for Adam Kirby.

This was just his third run, he came forward from his debut at Newbury in May to win well at Windsor in early June. This was another significant step forward and there is every chance that he can come forward again. He was a big price here, so he might still be at least a little under the radar.
