Cobb And Co
Cobb And Co ran well to finish second in Division 1 of the 10-furlong handicap. In front from early, Gavin Ryan stacked them up on the run to the home turn, and then kicked for home at the two-furlong marker. It looked like Michael Grassick's horse had them all on the stretch and he traded at long odds-on in-running. He was caught by 20/1 shot Timemakesitfine, who ran out an impressive winner in the end, but he kept on well enough to just hold on for second.
Campaigned over five and six furlongs when he was with Joseph O'Brien early last season, the Camacho gelding ran well over a mile at Naas on his previous run, when he led and only gave best to Capel At Dawn inside the final furlong. This was the longest trip over which he has ever raced, and he could do better back over a mile.
