Goodbye Dancer was a talented handicap hurdler for Nigel Twiston-Davies, who went well on soft ground and who had good form at Cheltenham.

His four runs in 2019 have been a slight step down on what went before, but he has come down the handicap as a result, down to a mark of 124, 13lb lower than his peak.  He has moved to Fergal O’Brien, who has his horses in top form and there is a chance that he can get back close to his peak today in conditions that suit.  He could be a really well handicapped horse now.
