Joseph O’Brien’s mare has five and a half lengths to find with Elimay on their running behind Mount Ida at Fairyhouse in January, and she has a half a length to find with her on their running last time at Cheltenham, but she was conceding weight to her on both occasions (5lb and 3lb) and they race off levels today. 

She ran a big race at Cheltenham.  She travelled well and she went on at the second last fence.  Elimay had to switch, but Scarlet And Dove wasn’t great at the last, and she stayed towards the far side, probably on the worst of the ground.  When she was passed by Elimay and Pink Legend, who raced towards the near side, she rallied again.  She may just have been idling. 

The Gigginstown House horse was only just beaten in this race last year when she made a significant mistake at the second last fence.  If she can jump a clear round today, she could put it up to Elimay.
