Plage De Havre is a progressive four-year-old who shaped well on his return to turf last season. He progressed nicely on all-weather during the winter and the spring, but he took a nice step forward last time at York, back on turf, when he stayed on well to take third place behind Almosh’her and Stressfree. Stressfree enhanced the form when he won next time, and Plage De Havre is 8lb better off with our old friend now as a consequence.
He has had a nice break since then, and he should get a stronger pace, which will place an emphasis on stamina at this trip, which would be a positive. He stays further than this. He has raced just twice on turf and he could take another step forward today.
