Second in a one-mile handicap at Galway last year at a big price, Nans View went back to Ballybrit in October and won a handicap over today's course and distance on heavy ground off a mark of 71. She was raised by 11lb for that win, but she won well, she deserved a fair hike, and she proved that she was up to her new mark of 81 when she finished second in another competitive handicap at Navan in early June on good ground.
Jarlath Fahey’s mare is up another 4lb today to a mark of 85, but she should improve for that run, her first since March. Also, she should appreciate the softer ground that she will encounter today, and the return to Galway, where her record reads 21.
