Horses To Follow » Hunaina

Hunaina was impressive in winning the 1m listed fillies’ race. Settled nicely back in the field, around fifth on the inside through the early stages of the race, she picked up nicely when Alexis Badel asked her to, she picked up the leaders very quickly on the run to the 1f pole and she kept on well all the way to the line to post an impressive win. She was a good filly for Michael Halford last season, she won a good handicap at Dundalk last October, and she has continued that progression this year for her French trainer, Henri-Francois Devin. She beat Trais Fluors and Robin Of Navan in a conditions race at Chantilly in early March, and this was another step forward. She is talented and she is tough and she should be able to continue to progress.
