Imaging

Imaging ran a really nice race to finish second to Gustav Klimt in the 2000 Guineas Trial over 7f.   He showed a smart turn of foot to go clear of early leader Kenya at 2f pole, and it looked like he had the favourite in trouble at that point. He was caught and passed by Gustav Kilmt in the end, but there was no disgrace in that. Aidan O’Brien’s colt won the Group 2 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket last summer on his previous run, and he is now 3/1 favourite for the 2000 Guineas. Dermot Weld’s horse kept on well all the way to the line, and he finished 11l clear of his other two rivals. It was a good run. He won his maiden at Limerick at the back end of last season, and he finished off his race well to beat Ship Of Dreams over 1m on heavy ground at Cork on his debut this term. He goes well on this easy ground, and he should progress again from this. A son of Oasis Dream, he stays 1m well, and he appears to have a really good attitude.
