Le Brivido

Le Brivido ran a nice race in the Gladness Stakes over 7f to finish second behind Imaging. Settled nicely at the back of the field by Ryan Moore through the early stages of the race, he picked up nicely on the run to the 1f marker, and he finished best of all to take third place. This was his first run since last summer and it was his first run for Aidan O’Brien, and it looked like the objective was to get him settled and get him to finish off his race, which he duly did. He was a really impressive winner of the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot for Andre Fabre as a three-year-old in 2017, when he raced down the centre of the track. He is obviously a hugely talented individual, but he has also obviously had his issues, which hopefully are behind him now. This was a really nice start back, and he will be very interesting if he takes his chance in the Lockinge Stakes.
