Past Winners » Mitbaahy

I am taking a chance on Mitbaahy here.  You have to forgive him a poor run last time, but that was in the Group 2 King George Stakes at Goodwood, his first run there at a track that not every horse handles, and that poor run has obviously influenced his odds today.

He was in great form before Goodwood.  He won at Hamilton and he won the Listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown, before going back to Sandown and going down by just a neck to the talented Raasel in the Group 3 Coral Charge, despite not having a lot of luck in-running.

Manaccan is a worthy favourite, and Tis Marvellous will be a player if he can replicate his Ascot and Beverley form here, but Mitbaahy has more to offer as a sprinter in my book, he has the potential to be a fair bit better than his odds today suggest.
