Inothewayurthinkin

Last horse from Fairyhouse on Tuesday, Inothewayurthinkin, who put up a really nice performance in finishing second to Imagine in the opening beginners’ chase on his chasing bow. He wasn’t quite as fluent over his obstacles as the winner was, he was novicey on occasion, but he stayed on strongly from the second last to get up for second place, just two and a half lengths behind the winner, who was admittedly idling.

There wasn’t much between Imagine and Inothewayurthinkin last year when they were novice hurdlers, they met twice and the score in their private duel is one each. A full-brother to Limerick Lace and a half-brother to Ilikedwayurthinkin and Ulster National winner Spades Are Trumps, Gavin Cromwell’s horse should improve with this run under his belt, and he should improve again as he improves his fluency and efficiency over his obstacles. All going well, he should be winning his beginners’ chase soon, and he should be seen to even better effect when he steps up in trip.
