I think that Alflaila should be much closer to My Oberon in the market than he is.

He hasn’t run since he won the Group 3 Darley Stakes at Newmarket last October, but he goes well fresh.  He has won on his seasonal debut in each of the last two seasons.

As importantly, he was nicely progressive towards the end of last season, he won his last three races and he stepped up with each performance.  And he goes well at York.  He won the Group 3 Strensall Stakes there last August.

Soft ground would be a worry, but ground just on the easy side of good should be fine.  I think that Royal Champion is a player as well, but Alflaila is the bet.
